Who is Camelia ?
Camelia is a 24-year-old emerging pop artist born and raised in Morocco. Her style blends influences from rock, alternative, synth, and funk into pop music, creating a fresh and distinctive sound. Her ability to weave vivid narratives and evocative melodies into her lyrics allows listeners to find comfort and pieces of themselves in her stories through different stages of life.
With a background in science (high school) and business (Master's degree), she approaches her artistry through a lens of curiosity. Growing up in a modest upbringing, affording to learn and make music wasn't even an option she could consider. So she taught herself to navigate the world of music, step by step knowing there's always more to learn and room for growth.
From ages 9 to 13, she took ballet lessons and a bit of jazz courses but stopped as it was getting too pricy to afford a longside her education. Driven by a deep passion to express what words alone cannot, she aims to create a safe space for her fans with her musical universe.

Novelist is a melancholic piano ballad with elements like: violin and electric guitar, capturing the emotional spiral of failure, envy, and quiet desperation. It’s a confession of self awareness, tangled in self-doubt, yet clinging to the fragile hope that something greater is waiting for you one day. And refusing to let these trials define the future. I’ve started writing this song back in January 2025 but couldn’t finance it and getting the production right where I wanted, so it's in the vault now (kind of lol).
